Fees
Please reach out for the cost for individual therapy sessions. My pricing is consistent with those of other highly skilled psychologists in California and varies based on length of appointment.
I have a limited number of slots available for those with Lyra Health benefits. If you have the benefit through your employer, please check with me to see if you can use those for our sessions.
Payment
I accept paperless electronic payment from you in full for each session. If needed, I can provide monthly statement (i.e., invoice/superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement if your plan has out-of-network benefits. I am an out-of-network provider for all insurances. To find out how much your insurance may cover, please call your insurance company directly. Additionally, You may be able to use your FSA or HSA card to pay for your sessions.
If you are using your Lyra Health benefits, I will bill for these sessions through Lyra until you no longer have any allotted sessions. After that point, you can decide to continue services based on my standard rate.
If for some reason, Lyra does not cover the cost of your session(s) (i.e., you’ve run out of allotted sessions, your benefit does not include no shows/cancellations, you are requesting a service that is not covered under the benefit), you are responsible for the full cost of services and will be directly charged.
Cancellations
If you are unable to attend a schedule session, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not cancel 24 hours in advance or simply do not show up for an appointment, the credit card on file will be charged your full session fee for the time reserved and/or you will be billed through Lyra. Please note not all Lyra Health benefits cover the cost of a no-show or cancellation, so in that case, you will be responsible for the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
Notice to clients and prospective clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
